Are you in the market for a mobile home in the Ark-La-Tex region and not sure where to start your search? Trust me, I've been there! I've bought three mobile homes in Bossier City over the last decade (mine, my daughter's, and a rental) and it can be a confusing process. There's several mobile home dealerships in the Shreveport-Bossier area and the options can be overwhelming. Today, we're excited to reveal the top four mobile home dealerships in Bossier City and Northwest Louisiana based on my own personal experience as well as testimony from my friends and family. Not in Northwest Louisiana? These dealerships deliver to Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Arkansas as well.

These experiences and opinions listed below are from mobile home buyers in Bossier City, Shreveport, Monroe, Benton, Haughton, Blanchard, Stonewall, Keithville, Oil City, Vivian, Elm Grove, Ruston, Texarkana, Henderson, Tyler, Kilgore, Mansfield, Marshall, Longview, Nacogdoches, Natchitoches, and other towns in the Ark-La-Tex region.

Brewer Home Center

3830 E. Texas St. Bossier City, LA 71111

Brewer Home Center is a local, family-owned mobile home dealership that has proudly served the community for over 50 years. Built on a foundation of integrity, quality, and customer satisfaction, the company has become a trusted name in the manufactured housing industry.

Brewer Home Center offers a wide selection of homes from four respected manufacturers: Kabco, Jessup, Titanium, and Franklin. This diverse lineup allows customers to choose from a variety of floor plans, styles, and price points—ensuring options for nearly every budget without compromising on build quality.

To support homeowners beyond the sale, Brewer Home Center provides a full range of in-house services. A dedicated service team is available to quickly address any issues, while in-house insurance options help secure some of the lowest rates available. Long-standing relationships with lenders also give customers access to high approval rates, competitive financing terms, and a smooth, efficient buying process—all supported by a knowledgeable and experienced sales team.

I bought my double wide from Brewer Home Center back in 2017, and I’ve been happy with it ever since. The whole buying process was easy, and everyone there was super helpful and kept me in the loop the whole time. No pressure, no confusion—just good, honest communication.

Now that I’ve had the home for 8 years, I can honestly say it’s held up better than a few site-built homes I’ve owned in the past. The quality is solid, and I haven’t had any major issues. I did have a couple small problems with the flooring a while back, and even though the one-year warranty was long gone, their service team still came out and fixed it for me. That really meant a lot.

If you’re thinking about getting a mobile home, I’d definitely recommend checking out Brewer. They took good care of me and still do.

Red River Home Center

3337 E Texas St. Bossier City, LA

Red River Home Center used to be a different dealership back in the day but seems to be related to Brewer Home Center. I had a friend buy a house from this dealership in July 2024 and said that Red River Home Center and Brewer Home Center had merged so I'd expect the same quality and commitment to customer satisfaction. I can't speak on them personally but I've heard great things from aquanctices that have bought home there.

Based on their website, they offer Kabco and Jessup homes which carry a great reputation.

Greg Tilley's Bossier Mobile Homes

4302 E Texas St. Bossier City, LA 71111

Greg Tilley's is known as the largest seller of mobile homes in the nation, operating on a high-volume, low-margin business model. They specialize in selling Clayton Homes and other manufacturers under the Clayton umbrella, offering some of the lowest prices in the market.

While the affordability is a major draw for many buyers, there are concerns that come with the savings. Clayton Homes doesn’t have the best reputation—something a quick Google search will show. Many of their homes, including the ones sold through Greg Tilley's, are built with cost-cutting materials like foam panel exteriors and 2x3 wall construction. These choices may help keep the sticker price low, but they often lead to higher long-term maintenance and repair costs.

In my personal experience, the problems started after delivery. Once the sale was finalized and the home was on my property, I had a hard time getting anyone from their team to follow up on service. I had a few loose cabinets and some trim that had come undone—not major issues, and luckily I was able to fix them myself with a nail gun. But I’ve also heard horror stories from family members, like ceiling panels being damaged during delivery and never getting repaired, no matter how many calls were made.

Still, when you spend over $50,000 on a home, you expect the company to stand by their promises and follow through on service. Greg Tilley's may be the cheapest option upfront, but buyers should go in with their eyes open. The savings may not last if you’re stuck fixing things out of pocket later.

Regional Homes

Regional Home sells homes from Winston, Bravo, and Sunshine. While Winston has a solid reputation and I’ve heard mostly positive feedback about their build quality, the same can’t be said for Bravo and Sunshine. From what I’ve heard over the years, both Bravo and Sunshine have had their fair share of issues when it comes to quality and long-term durability.

Regional Home is known for selling some of the most expensive manufactured homes in the area, and based on my experience, the price doesn’t always match the service you receive. While the home itself is built well and has held up over time, the process leading up to and following delivery left a lot to be desired.

One of the biggest disappointments was that the home I received looked nothing like the lot model I ordered from. I was repeatedly assured it would match exactly, but when it showed up, the colors and finishes were completely different from what I saw and agreed to. Unfortunately, by that point, there wasn’t much I could do.

On top of that, the lack of follow-up service was frustrating, especially after paying a premium. For what I spent, I expected a much smoother experience and better communication. Looking back, I probably would’ve gone with a Franklin home instead—more bang for your buck, and fewer surprises.

That said, the home itself is solid and has held up pretty well structurally. I just wish I had more control over the final product and better support after the sale.
